The Best of the Divine Comedy

An interesting and fascinating walk through the famous Dante’s Inferno

In the first semester, the course will be based on the Inferno part of Divina Commedia. The teacher will take the students deep into the cultural environment of 1300, the age of Dante. Through the reading and paraphrase of the most famous Canti, the teacher will introduce the best-known names in the Divine Comedy, friends and enemies of Dante, like Virgilio, Paolo e Francesca, Ulisse, Piccarda Donati, philosophers, popes and the love of his life, Beatrice.

Now taking expression of interest for new dates for semester 1: Tuesday 29th March to Tuesday 28th June, with a 2-week break, for a total of 12 lessons of 1 hour each.
