The Dante Alighieri Society of Western Australia conducts examinations in Italian each year for students studying Italian in Western Australian High Schools. The examinations include written, oral and aural comprehension components.
Dante's examinations are an important part of the Italian Language education system in Western Australia, and help students to become well prepared for their formal school and Tertiary Entrance Examinations.
All participants are carefully assessed and given a performance grade.
Prizes are awarded at each year level in a number of categories. Special prizes are given for students of non Italian background.
